EAC Errors
Hello
Hoping that someone can suggest an answer to a problem I have with EAC Flac
Unfortunately I have received some notification of some errors in my Flac rips.
The problem being reported has been described as corrupt files by some.
This is only in a few files and not all.
Personally I have ( in the majority of cases any way ) always checked the file by playing it using Foobar and no faults noticed. I have been told that others may not be so forgiving and stall completely [Winamp?]
Upon checking further with a program called AudioTester it is found that Sync Errors & and in afew CRC errors exist.
I was understanding that both my drives were OK and set up in EAC Although have just compared the 2 drives using the same CD and one is good and the other has errors-is this the simple way out.
Any comments ,corrections answers or repairs?

Re: EAC Errors
All show similar logs to this
Track 25
Filename F:\MUSIC UP\VA When The Levee Breaks Disc D(blues)(flac)[rogercc][h33t]\Freddie Spruell,Let's Go Riding.wav
Pre-gap length 0:00:02.45
Peak level 94.3 %
Track quality 99.9 %
Copy CRC C633166D
Accurately ripped (confidence 3) [A8D3FA99]
Copy OK
All tracks accurately ripped
No errors occurred
End of status report
Seems to be only when using one of the 2 drives
Can post whole log id needed
Cheers rogercc

Re: EAC Errors
you should use the TEST & COPY feature of EAC. (press shift + F6 for ripping). Accurate rip database could be wrong in some cases, and any ways having a matching test and copy CRC is the only way to prove the rip was actually an exact copy. Accurate rip can help increase confidence, but the matching CRCs is what matters most.
