Shitthebed Says Hello!!

First let me say a big thanks to Flacmonkey for this forum.At this stage I usually place a funny smilie but I have yet to work out how to include them.
You know me as shitthebed or STB to my fellow Flac lovers. Some people have been known to call me Mark.Originally from Dublin,Ireland.The home of some great Rock bands like Thin Lizzy and some less well known bands like U2.
Why Shitthebed I hear you say,what does it mean.
Well its basically a swear word used in some parts of the UK and Ireland.
Instead of saying Oh! My God or F**k me,you use stb.
Was trying to find a user name one day over at Demonoid and just about to give up,frustrated and bored I tried stb and well if the name fits,why not use it.
Would not call myself a flac snob,but I do look for a log first,I just want to hear it as near as god intended.
Love the blues and 70,s rock. Love coffee, I never drink instant,grind my own beans,like to mix em up a bit.
Hate tea.especially the smell,weird considering I was brought up on the stuff.My dad drinks it day and night and has a special mug which he proudly refuses to wash,says the brownness adds to the taste,a bit like oak vats do for wine.?????

Very nice intro. Your dad is right about his special mug. Some tea fanatics use one single clay teapot for one single type of tea (say green tea), and never ever wash it. As the years go by the deposit increases in quantity and makes the tea richer in taste.

I also check for a proper log, and won't download anything that's not ripped properly. I've become a bit of a flac snob over the years. If you encode in a lossless format, why not have as good a rip as you can?

I have a friend moving to Gallway soon. He's been there before and loves it. He keeps telling me about smithicks (right spelling?) and whiskey teas. I'll go visit him once he's there. I always wanted to see Ireland. I've heard that somewhat popular band you mentioned, U2, not really my cup of tea, but I'll have to listen to some ThinLizzy which I have barely ever heard yet...

Anyways, welcome onboard! Feel free to defend fresh ground coffee over instant as much as you like

Hey STB welcome to the forums! Love your ups over at the 'Noid.

I say "Shit The Bed" a lot... this year especially. Our hometown NHL hockey team, Edmonton Oilers, came in dead last in the league. You can say they shit the bed, which would actually be an understatement.

Oh, and you forgot to mention Sinead O Conner.
